Requirements

• Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding).
• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university in a EHS related field.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Must be willing to work on site up to 5 days a week.
• Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated initiative, independence, and leadership skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Proficiency in SharePoint, Smartsheet or similar computer tools.
• GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in Canada for this opening. This position requires access to and/or use of information subject to U.S. Export Control Laws, which mandate all citizenships be from the U.S. Department of Energy’s List of Generally Authorized Countries (10 CFR Part 810 Appendix A); otherwise a specific authorization from the U.S. Department of Energy will be required. • Must be willing to work in Markham, ON and travel independently to other locations around GTA.
• Team player, strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be available for a 12-month co-op program starting Summer 2026.
• Understanding of ISO 45001/ISO 14001 standards.
• Must hold a valid class G driver license and have access to a reliable vehicle for transportation.
