Company History
Established in 1979, the organization has evolved into a multiregional leader in planning, design, and engineering.
  • Led by seasoned professionals, McAdams sits at the intersection of planning, design, and engineering—blending land use, infrastructure, and landscape into cohesive projects.
  • Typical projects span municipal parks, educational campuses, commercial centers, transportation corridors, and stormwater systems.
  • Their design palette ranges from urban streetscapes and multimodal transit planning to green stormwater infrastructure and wetland restoration.
  • Standout work includes major regional efforts like the Duke University stadium renovation, River Walk at Central Park in Texas, and ecological infrastructure in North Carolina towns.
  • Uncommonly, they handle everything end‑to‑end—from funding and permit services to visualization and construction administration—to ensure seamless client delivery.
