Tasks

We are seeking a Procurement Executive to manage the sourcing and purchasing of chemicals, raw materials, and packaging supplies that support our trading and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the chemical industry, vendor negotiations, and import/export documentation, ensuring material availability, cost efficiency, and quality compliance. -Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve order discrepancies. -Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for chemicals and related materials. -Maintain accurate procurement data including supplier records, purchase history, and price logs. -Liaise with logistics teams for import/export documentation, customs clearance, and shipment tracking. -Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs) in line with company policies. -Provide regular updates on order status, lead times, and market developments to stakeholders. -Maintain long-term supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery, and compliance. -Work closely with Sales, Technical, and Operations teams to forecast demand and plan procurement schedules. -Ensure adherence to company procurement and quality standards. -Track supplier performance metrics, payment terms, and delivery compliance. -Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve optimal cost savings. -Support sourcing of specialty chemicals for new product developments. -Monitor market trends, chemical price movements, and currency fluctuations to support decision-making. -Research and identify new or alternative suppliers to ensure supply chain resilience. -Support preparation of procurement reports, dashboards, and presentations.

What You Bring

Experience: 2–3 Years -Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). -Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration. -Knowledge of chemical raw materials, import/export regulations, and procurement documentation. -2–3 years of procurement or supply chain experience, ideally within the chemical trading or manufacturing sector. -Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills with attention to detail.
