What You Bring

Candidates can come from client-side consultancy, main contractor or consulting engineering firms but will ideally have both client side experience and main contractor delivery experience. From a technical aspect, the candidate will ideally have experience from front end through to delivering the construction phase of projects with strong contracts experience. A high degree of client and stakeholder liaison will be involved, from feasibility stage to delivery stage of projects. Leadership, communication and people management skillset will be paramount along with a strong base of technical knowledge. You must be comfortable managing high performing teams. The candidate must possess strong leadership and engagement skills as well as be comfortable with Business Development activities to be able to manage existing relationships as well as potentially bring new business into the company. Project experience in complex Industrial projects is ideal as it will be managing industrial project management teams however if you have experience in other complex construction sectors such as Data Centres, Ports, Aviation, Health, Manufacturing, Complex Infrastructure etc. that could also suit. -Leadership skills -Renowned professional national project management advisory and consultancy -10 - 15 plus years’ experience of end-to-end project management on building projects -Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Strategic thinker who is able to see the bigger picture -Previous client-side project management experience
