The Role
Overview
Lead proposal development and strategy for Environmental Services, leveraging AI tools.

Tasks
-Develop and initiate proposal management plan, draft storyboards, develop proposal and win strategy, and delegate proposal team assignments. -Support teams with conferences and trade shows. Procure booth, book sponsorships, prepare presentation materials and thought leadership. May occasionally support booth setup and preparation. -Continuously explore and incorporate emerging technologies to improve proposal efficiency, accuracy, and market responsiveness. -Translate data into graphics and visualscreating engaging, visually appealing content. -Lead color team reviews and adjust marketing materials in response to review and requests. -Perform post-submittal activities including short-list interviews and debrief meetings. -Write proposal sales language including win themes, cover letters, executive summaries, project descriptions and resumes. -Lead proposal layout in Microsoft Word and Adobe InDesign. -Assist with the submittal for industry awards (ACEC; ENR) local trade or national trade publications. -Support the development and inclusion of metrics; including change orders, safety, budget, schedule, diversity goals, and community involvement activities. -Develop proposal or qualifications content and utilize AI-based tools for drafting, editing, and enhancing proposal content, incorporating company standards and client-specific customizations. -Lead proposal team meetings, including go/no-go decisions and proposal kickoff meeting, and drive team collaboration to inform proposal direction. -Manage proposal schedule and package completed documents.

What You Bring
-Proficiency in Microsoft office suite required. -Proficiency with Adobe InDesign strongly preferred. -Experience utilizing AI-based technology and tools for proposal development is highly preferred, with a demonstrated ability to adapt and integrate new technologies to enhance proposal impact and streamline processes. -APMP certification, or equivalent, preferred. -Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business administration, or related field. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Minimum 4 years in marketing, business development, or sales with a professional services firm. Experience at an A/E firm preferred.
