The Role

Overview

Perform plumbing and hydraulic maintenance, repairs, and installations across client sites.

Tasks

-Perform general building maintenance tasks outside your core trade where required -Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plumbing and hydraulic systems -Respond to after-hours callouts as part of a roster -Maintain compliance with BGIS quality, safety, and environmental standards -Mentor and support apprentices as part of team development -Provide excellent service to clients and ensure work is completed efficiently and professionally -Install, repair, and maintain hot water systems (gas, electric, and solar), TMVs, and backflow devices -Manage and coordinate subcontractors when necessary

What You Bring

-Ability to work independently and within a team environment -White Card (General Construction Induction) -Full working rights in Australia (essential) -Current manual driver’s licence -Certificate III in Plumbing (minimum qualification) -Excellent communication and customer service abilities -Multi-trade capability (e.g. general maintenance, handyperson duties) desirable -Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills -1–5 years’ experience in a similar plumbing or hydraulic maintenance role
