Overview

Plan and execute high‑profile tradeshow and client events to drive brand and business growth.

Tasks

-Write and edit event communications, marketing materials, bios and other content with polish, accuracy and professionalism -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Interact directly with senior executives, client decision-makers and external partners with professionalism and confidence, representing the company at the highest level -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Partner with business development teams to shape event strategy, then translate that vision into compelling experiences that support client engagement and business growth -Learn and understand the market context behind each event, tailoring strategy and messaging to resonate with industry audiences -Manage event budgets and contracts with discipline and attention to detail, balancing creativity with financial responsibility -Collaborate with teammates and share best practices, jumping in to help execute the details of each other’s events and reinforcing a culture where no task is too small and everyone contributes at every level -Lead the planning and execution of corporate tradeshows, conferences and client-facing events from start to finish, owning every detail and outcome -Own both the creative vision and events execution, working directly on the details while drawing on marketing and design support to craft a standout client experience

-Solutions-provider mentality with the ability to work well independently and with others; maintains a positive attitude with a willingness to learn -Confidence and professionalism in high-stakes environments, with comfort interacting directly with executives and clients -Regular, reliable attendance -5+ years of corporate tradeshow and client event experience, with demonstrated ability to deliver polished, high-profile events -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or related field -Proficiency with MS Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe (i.e., InDesign, Illustrator) -Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment -Balances big-picture creativity with hands-on execution and treats every detail as critical to the success of the whole -Exceptional writing and editing skills, with experience developing marketing content and executive communications -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Experience in the architecture, construction and engineering industry preferred

-Approximately 15% travel annually (most trips are scheduled months in advance, though occasional last-minute travel may be required)
