Project Manager - Construction/Fit Out

Lead construction/fit‑out projects, ensuring safety, quality, budget and client goals.

Tasks

-Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. -Identify and manage project programme dependencies and critical path. -Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. -Plan and schedule project programme timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. -Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyse results, and troubleshoot problem areas. -Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. -Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements, documentation and presentations as required by client. -Effectively communicate and manage project commercial expectations to team members and stakeholders. -Direct and manage project development from inception to completion. -Draft and submit budget proposals. -Be ultimately responsible for Health & Safety during the construction phase of projects managed. -Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. -Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project. -Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. -Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents. -Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

What You Bring

-Construction-related academic qualification; BSc, or HNC or time-served tradesperson with proven track record in Site Management -Valid SMSTS Certificate -To travel nationwide depending on location of projects. -Experience with fit out or full construction
