Tasks
-Support production teams to minimise downtime and ensure timely repairs. -Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues, including PLC control systems. -Work across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. -Carry out both proactive and reactive maintenance on heavy industrial machinery. -Uphold good housekeeping practices and contribute to continuous improvement. -Maintain safe working practices and effective communication at all times. -Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high standards.

What You Bring
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our clients established engineering team within a long-standing, family-run Scottish business. This is a varied and hands-on role, offering stability, career development, and the opportunity to work with a close-knit team. -Experience working within a production/manufacturing environment with heavy machinery. -Time-served / modern apprenticeship in an electrical engineering discipline (or equivalent). -Knowledge of PLCs, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and mechanical drive systems. -Flexible and multiskilled, with a willingness to undertake mechanical work. -Physically fit, due to the nature of the role. -Excellent communication, numeracy, and literacy skills. -Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
