Conduct QA audits of training providers and support improvement in construction sector

Tasks

This is more than a desk job. You’ll be out on the road, meeting training providers, reviewing processes, and helping shape the future of construction training delivery in the UK. Whether you're from a construction background or have worked in training and compliance, if you're highly organised and enjoy working independently, we want to hear from you. -Support training providers with advice and best practice for training, assessment, and testing -Assist with the onboarding and approval of new training organisations -Deliver constructive feedback and produce clear, plain-English reports -Manage a caseload of training providers as part of CITB’s ‘Training Provider Network’ -Review applications from trainers, assessors, and testers in line with CITB scheme requirements -Identify and act on non-conformances, malpractice, maladministration, or fraud -Conduct sampling of assessment, training, and testing -Share insights and contribute to continuous improvement across the network -Plan, deliver, and follow up on quality assurance audits

What You Bring

Grade: SC3 -In-depth knowledge of educational quality assurance and auditing systems -Educated to GCSE standard (Grades A–C in Maths and English) -Confident handling difficult conversations and managing conflict professionally -Site Manager Safety Training Scheme qualification (or willingness to obtain once in post) -Able to work independently and manage your own workload -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Recognised training qualification (or willingness to obtain once in post) -ISO 9001 Auditor (or willingness to obtain once in post) -Strong occupational expertise in the construction and built environment -Education to A-Level standard (or equivalent) -D34 (V1), D35 (V2) Internal or External Verifier qualifications -D32, D33 (A1) Assessor qualification

Target Salary: £47,973 + £6,452 Annual Car Allowance Salary Range: £40,500 – £49,500 CITB plays a crucial role in supporting the construction sector and its people.
