Supports procurement tasks: order entry, tracking, paperwork, and coordination.

Tasks

-Assist and support accounting with the invoice approval process. -Answer phones and provide back up to the receptionist as needed. -Responsible for assisting with order entry, maintaining files and paperwork. -Maintain up-to-date paper and electronic order files for follow-up on materials purchased. -Assist with entering purchase orders, tracking orders, and providing reports for project management. -Provide backup to team members as needed for the success of the department -Update and maintain master PO log books and PM log books. -Train other team members as needed to maintain the success of the department. -Provide material procurement support activities for manufacturing and construction teams. -Follow standard procurement procedures set for the department. -Assist with equipment rentals and rental returns. -Assist with credit card receipts and petty cash reconciliation.

What You Bring

-Self-motivated, self-managed, and highly driven to complete tasks with little or no supervision. -Good Interpersonal skills for coordinating projects involving multiple people and functions. -Personal computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) -This position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. -Advanced education in office management is a plus, but not required. -This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in a manufacturing purchasing department. -Good verbal and written communication skills. -Ability to take on more responsibility as the business grows.
