Tasks

-Agreement of valuation dates and preparing, submitting interim valuations in accordance with those dates. -Subcontract payments, variations and final accounts -Submission of Cost Value Reconciliations -The measurement and valuation of works (on site and from drawings), for valuations, variations and final accounts. -Internal Valuations/CVRs and subcontract liability reports in accordance with schedule of accounting period end dates and deadlines -Provision of standard reports -Administering and/or advising on Main Contract and Subcontract conditions -Analysis of tender allowances -Subcontract and Design Procurement

What You Bring

-You will be degree qualified and member of the RICS or IOB (or moving towards professional membership). -Extensive experience in commercial management and procurement of subcontractors -Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of monthly reporting -Ability to encourage and support other members of the commercial team -Excellent team player whilst also holding the ability to work independently on own -Professional Qualification (e.g HNC/HND/Degree/Diploma) or equivalent -Excellent time management skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines -You will have experience of working within the Construction industry for a main contractor, specifically on Design and Build; as well as sound knowledge of JCT and NEC Conditions of Contract -Consideration to candidates of an infrastructure / housebuilding background will be considered
