The Role

Overview

Certified welder fabricates, assembles, and inspects solar panels and structures.

Tasks

-Welding components together using the appropriate welding techniques and methods. -Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements. -Keeping accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects. -Repairing and modifying existing solar panels and structures as necessary. -Preparing materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and shaping them as needed. -Setting up and operating welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding machines. -Inspecting welded joints and structures to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. -Maintaining welding equipment and tools in good working condition. -Following safety procedures and wearing protective equipment to prevent accidents and injuries. -Collaborating with engineers and other team members to resolve welding-related issues and improve processes.

What You Bring
