Manage and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
Conduct and oversee Section 106 assessments, National Register nominations, Historic Tax Credit (HTC) consulting and Historic Evaluations (assessments of opportunities and risks relating to historic status).
Provide expert guidance on historic preservation projects, ensuring compliance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards (36 CFR 61).
Lead business development initiatives, including proposal preparation and client engagement.

Master’s degree in Historic Preservation or a closely related field.
Ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
Proven track record in Section 106 compliance, HTC consulting, and National Register nominations.
Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and the computer screen
Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling exertion regularly throughout the work shift.
Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
Certified under the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards (36 CFR 61) as a Certified Architectural Historian / Historian / Historic Architect.
Requires the ability to climb a ladder.
10+ years of professional experience in historic preservation (15+ years preferred).
