Tasks

-Provide acquisition leadership in deal procurement, underwriting, negotiation, oversight of due diligence, and investment committee memos -Execute on post-acquisition strategies to ensure investment success and integration of the asset into the ownership's portfolio -Communication with clients, joint venture partners, consultants, brokers, legal and risk management professionals -Assist in quarterly asset valuations -Creation of, presentation to, and approval by the representative Investment Committee

What You Bring

As Vice President of Investments, you will be an integral member of the Bridge Logistics Properties (BLP) team and will play a primary role in the identification of new acquisition and development opportunities in the Central US, primarily focused on the Texas markets of Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin and Houston. You will have comprehensive responsibilities related to new acquisitions and developments ranging from sourcing, underwriting and analytics, structuring, negotiating, due diligence, and closing. This is both a qualitative and quantitative position requiring strong analytical, critical thinking and writing skills with direct responsibility over properties held by our value add and development funds as well as separate account clients. You will be supported by an analytical team, entitlement and land development team, asset management professionals, and a legal and accounting group. You will report directly to the Central Region Managing Director but will interact frequently with the Chief Investment Officer and other members of the Investment Committee. -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail including an editing eye, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously -Strong negotiating skills with the ability to navigate nuanced and complex investment scenarios -Expert ability to review and understand financial models in excel and Argus Enterprise required -Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability -Ability to function both in a team-oriented setting, and independently -Ability to work well alone / with a team with little to no supervision in fast paced environments -Bachelor’s Degree preferably in real estate, finance, business, accounting, economics or related area -Strong sense of personal motivation, responsibility, entrepreneurship, team player, low ego -Minimum 8-10 years of experience in real estate acquisitions preferably in the industrial / logistics sector
