Tasks

-Ensures all project close-out activities are completed in a timely manner. -Responsible for project delivery against all budget, schedule & quality targets. -Negotiates and executes contracts and agreements in a timely and cost-effective manner. -Create and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders. -Builds engagement through ongoing communicates to all staff and stakeholders. -Identifies risks and implements mitigation and contingency plans. -Ensure you and your family receive the services needed to support your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. -Quality - Ensuring key metrics and KPI’s are established, and targets are consistently achieved. -Execution - Develop, monitor and report weekly and monthly activities internally and to external stakeholders to ensure the plan is executed. Implement construction phasing plans and logistics. -Establish safety program on all project sites ensuring a safe work environment. -Regular interactions with clients, engineering firms, subcontractors, contracting authorities, municipalities, the public, and special interest groups. -Provide all required project reporting / forecasting.

What You Bring

-Thorough knowledge of change management principles including identifying significant variations, claims identification, narration, quantification and evaluation. -Sound knowledge of utility construction methods and techniques - trenching and excavating, shoring, deep utilities, tie-ins, etc. -Demonstrates commercial acumen to protect profits and improve margins. -Sound understanding of contractual, commercial and financial functions. -Knowledge with risk identification and management. -Previous SAP experience is considered an asset. -Strong organizational and time management. -Financial reporting and forecasting. -Excellent communication, presentation skills and interpersonal skills. -Experience with project scheduling (previous use of P6 an asset). -Experience with contract and subcontract management. -Working computer proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook). -Post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, or equivalent discipline an asset. -Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and work within a team environment. -Expertise and experience in the wet utility construction industry (oil & gas, water, sewer, drainage, etc.) required. -Ability to travel within the United States -Proven track record with claims management and dispute resolution on major projects. -Proficient in liaising with client, subcontractor, and consultant representatives.
