Tasks

Participate in meetings and discussions to understand the Civic COE’s strategy and goals. Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to identify potential growth areas and strategic initiatives. Contribute to brainstorming sessions focused on improving BD strategies and enhancing overall business development performance. Support the creation of an existing client Business Development (BD) plan, including key outreach strategies. Maintain consistent follow-ups with clients and consultants to nurture relationships. Assist in preparing client meeting materials such as presentations, handouts, and follow-up summaries. Conduct daily research to identify potential project opportunities. Perform analysis of industry data to uncover insights into market trends, competitors, and client needs. Gather information on new agencies, architects, and consultants for targeted outreach and future collaboration. Prepare weekly summaries of BD activities, including leads, events, and follow-ups. Maintain an organized calendar of deadlines, events, and project milestones. Track, organize, and attend pre-bid job walks. Assist with coordinating team outings and engagement activities for the Civic COE team to foster collaboration and team spirit. Schedule and register for all networking events, maintaining an updated calendar of activities. Manage the networking calendar to ensure timely follow-ups and consistent participation. Coordinate meetings and lunches with new and existing contacts to strengthen relationships and explore business opportunities. Assist with event logistics, including preparation of materials and post-event follow-ups. Attend events with the Business Development Manager to learn about the business, network, and engage with industry partners. Assist with the review and data extraction of RFQs/RFPs to ensure compliance with requirements. Support the preparation of Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), proposals, and other client-facing submissions. Review and edit content for consistency and clarity, incorporating visual elements when needed. Manage the CRM system to log new pursuits, track pursuits and client interactions, and ensure data accuracy. Generate regular reports on pipeline activities, leads, and hit ratios to support informed decision-making and business development strategy.
