Tasks

-Edits and develops online learning materials. -Assists with scripts for video and audio content. -Facilitates discussion and collaboration via social media. -Creates learning experiences and environments. -Collaborates with subject experts to develop course content. -Keeps current on best practices in instructional design. -Trains instructors in how to use learning technologies. -Develops and designs courses and curriculum. -Develops instructor’s manuals, rubrics, and other teaching tools. -Designs learning activities, assignments, and assessments. -Works with technical staff to troubleshoot problems reported by users. -Creates computer-based training (CBT) modules and storyboards. -Analyzes, updates, and refines existing online content. -Manages online learning communities; LMS

What You Bring

-Regular attendance is mandatory. -The ability to think critically and ask detailed questions. -Understanding the visual design of learning best practices -Experience with e-learning software such as Articulate Storyline and Camtasia -Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator -Knowledge of adult learning theory -Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines. -Previous experience in instructional design. -Excellent project management and organizational skills -Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) -Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft PowerPoint -BS, or technical degree in instructional design, education, or related field. -Prefer someone with some experience in Graphic Design -Familiar with ADDIE -Interface Design experience is a plus -Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical clients.
