Warehouse Operator - $24.25 per hour (Fredrickson, WA)

Overview

Handle receiving, storage, picking, and shipping of products in a warehouse.

Tasks

-Count all products, compare to manifest and check all shipments for damage, infestation and production code dates -Compare quantity, labeling and address with order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct -Ensure correct number and type of product is picked -Comply with all local, OSHA or Expeditors’ standards -Efficiently move product into outbound delivery vehicles -Ensure proper stock rotation -Sign for inbound shipments when necessary -Transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment -Keep accurate records and reports. Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts -Maintain equipment and assigned areas in a neat, clean and orderly fashion -Accept signatures for outbound as necessary -Operate equipment safely and efficiently -Report shortages, damages and mis-shipments on appropriate forms

What You Bring

-If assigned, and you are a qualified forklift driver, unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations -JDE experience preferred -Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects -Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods. -Ability to work independently with minimal supervision -Preferred high school degree -Strong work ethic, attention to detail and positive attitude -Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math (add, subtract, divide, multiply) and write legibly. Must be able to pass basic math pre-employment test. -6 months of distribution and warehousing experience or comparable experience - RF technologies a plus -Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods -Stencil, tag or mark orders as required
