Overview
Manage VDC processes, BIM coordination, and integrated construction teams for data center projects.

Tasks
-Coordinate alongside project leadership, design team members, and preconstruction services (i.e. estimating, scheduling, project planning, constructability, site utilization, etc.) -Establish the scope of work for projects -Implement 3D technology during construction -Plan, implement, and oversee VDC processes through appropriate technology platforms -Lead or be involved in internal training -Oversee construction coordination -Establish the schedule and deliverables for integrated delivery services -Manage others and may lead to leadership in other areas and settings within the group and/or larger Mortenson IDAT community. -Attend, participate, and present at external and internal BIM/VDC related conferences and meetings. -Provide meaningful input towards improving the project’s, and the group’s, ability to capture and deploy lessons learned and best practices. Contribute towards further developing and improving upon the group’s VDC Playbook. -Oversee the production and management of 3D and 4D models -Develop, modify and/or update project BIM, typically in support of our self-performed scope of work and/or to fill gaps in modelling scope necessary for 3D coordination. -Participate in the research and development of new technologies -Provide supervision and oversight of group’s integrated construction team -Provide support to the group, and program, beyond current physical and assigned geographic location. -Capture, manage and communicate reality capture data and status visualizations -Communicate model generated information to project team

What You Bring
-High level of competency with advanced software. (2D, 3D and 4D) -Experience managing and leading a dynamic team -Our postings are typically open a minimum of 5 days and an average of 44 days. -Must be on the project site full-time -Licensure in professional field is preferred -Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field -Rendering and Animation experience a plus -Revizto, Synchro, Enscape, ArcGIS, Drone Deploy -Minimum eight years of progressively challenging construction management experience or equivalent combining education and experience -Current driver's license -Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status, 0-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.). We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. -Part 107 license a plus prior to joining, but essential to acquire early to support program’s reality capture requirements -Proficiency with Autodesk Building Design Systems (Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Civil3D, 3Ds Max, Navisworks)
