Tasks

-Coordination with internal resources and stakeholders, including Architecture and MEP teams. -Creation, tracking, and management of project deliverables and their schedules. -Oversight and guidance of the design team in their day-to-day work, including providing technical guidance, team leadership, workload management, quality control, and contribution to design efforts as needed. -Leading project and design update meetings, including delivering presentations. -Client management and stakeholder coordination throughout all project phases.

Job Description: Velocity Architecture and Engineering DPC, a company of BRAVO Group, is seeking an accomplished Project Manager and Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in electrical and fire alarm system design for vertical buildings, as well as hands-on experience with MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) projects and commercial developments. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program. -10+ years' experience working in a consulting engineering firm for various projects. Buildings experience in NYC is required; a background in the transit and/or public sector is strongly preferred. -Strong knowledge of the various New York City and New York state building codes. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Capable of using standard Microsoft Office software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. -Latest AutoCAD experience required, REVIT experience a plus. -LEED accreditation is preferred. -Ability to think critically and assess each project, including staff allocation, independently with only high-level guidance from senior leadership. -Demonstrated management and leadership experience within an engineering team. -Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of New York is strongly preferred.
