Tasks

-Responsible for the site set-up and clean-up -Load and unload tools, materials and equipment from truck -Perform work in all weather conditions -Safely operate and control assigned equipment -Attend new site Job Safety Analysis -Set up a safety perimeter -Dig pits, trenches or potholes as directed by job plan -Drives and/or operates diesel or gasoline powered equipment to/from/on jobsite (Backhoe, Trencher, Directional Bore, Digger Derrick, Pole/Bucket Truck) associated with installation and repair of underground/aerial utilities -Performs general construction work (to include physical labor i.e. using hand tools, lifting materials on average up to 50 lbs, etc.) under direction of Foreman or Supervisor -Perform clearing, grading, excavations and all other equipment functions of construction sites -Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motions, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds

What You Bring

-High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience -Must be able to demonstrate ability to follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies -Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record -Occasionally: work in confined spaces, use ladder, keyboard and mouse -To be 18 years of age or older -Authorization to work in the United States for this company -Experience with drill set up and design processes, is preferred
