Overview
Lead 2nd shift production, drive Lean, ensure safety and manage payroll.

Tasks
-Handle daily performance through the use of process center communication boards daily. -Ensure a clean and safe working environment for all employees, emphasizing prevention of potential problems and hazardous conditions, and supports nVent's safety programs. -Support new process and product development and implementation. -Look after day-to-day production activities to ensure that current commitments are achieved while improvements are being made. -Be a change agent and drive out waste throughout the manufacturing operation through the deployment of the Lean methodology. -Directly lead production employees, including training, directing, conducting performance reviews, educating, and mentoring on performance. -Review and submit payroll hours on a weekly basis, entering exception hours as needed. -Develops key improvement projects and fulfills related duties as needed.

What You Bring
-Respectful and team oriented -Innovative & adaptable -Ideally 2+ years of experience in Lean manufacturing, with a strong ability to articulate and apply Lean concepts and methodologies. -High school diploma or G.E.D -Ideally 3 plus years manufacturing experience, with a preference for manufacturing leadership experience preferred
