Tasks

This role ensures accurate scheduling, documentation, and communication across teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver projects on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. The Construction Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and completion of fire protection projects. -Evaluate fitter and apprentice performance; maintain data to support staffing and development. -Review technician reports and communicate updates to the Construction Team. -Coordinate safety training, site visits, and maintain certification records. -Track and verify technician and coordinator hours; ensure accurate daily and weekly reporting in the Service Call system. -Coordinate with Payroll and Project Management to validate hours and work orders. -Manage onboarding for new Road Crew hires, including documentation, orientation, and union verification. -Conduct site visits and act as liaison between Superintendents and Project Managers. -Support manpower planning and ensure timely delivery of drawings, materials, and drain downs. -monitor site progress, and maintain monthly project reports.

What You Bring

-1–3 years in construction coordination or project support (fire protection or mechanical systems preferred) -Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field -Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills -Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project) -Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and ability to read construction drawings -Experience with fire protection systems (sprinklers, alarms)
