The Role

Overview

Assist with shop tasks: inventory, painting, cleaning, loading, forklift operation

Tasks

-Pull and Package parts for shipping. -Clean up after a project task that has been completed. -Load and unload trucks. -Sorting inventory. -Grind and polish material. -Follow all Sylvan/OSHA safety requirements while executing tasks. -Organizing tools. -Preparing weldments for painting. -Painting of fabricated weldments. -Make local runs to vendors in the company truck.

What You Bring

-Proficient at inputting data using MS Office, Excel, Word, etc.. -Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. -Overhead Crane and rigging experience. -Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, positive “can-do” attitude. -Possess excellent communication skills. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Detail orientated. -Hi-Lo experience is a plus. -Strong math skills. -Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. -Ability to operate large fork trucks and electric stand up.
