Tasks
Reporting to the Preconstruction Director, you will lead bid teams and manage the full tender process from strategy to submission. You will develop bid strategies to secure profitable orders, manage bid budgets and programmes, and lead client engagement and presentations. You will coordinate technical, commercial, and legal contributions, select and liaise with supply chain partners, and drive innovation and best practice across bids.

What You Bring
At Kilnbridge, we’re looking for a Senior Estimator to join our Pre-Construction team, shaping winning strategies for major infrastructure and engineering works. Your expertise will help us deliver accurate, competitive, and innovative proposals that set us apart. Are you an experienced Senior Estimator ready to lead bids for complex civil engineering projects? You will have previous proven experience in preconstruction and tendering, with a strong background in large scale, complex civil engineering projects and ideally experience with FRC. You will be detail-focused, commercially astute, and confident managing complex bids under pressure. You should be degree-qualified or equivalent, experienced in managing bid teams and processes, and familiar with estimating software such as CANDY. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, and membership of a relevant professional body such as RICS, CIOB, or ICE is desirable.
