The Role

Overview

Full-time flexible Class A CDL driver covering plant assignments across locations.

Tasks

-Train New Hires in all systems. Also retrain current drivers when needed. -Secure loads and/or inspect loads to ensure proper securement (including tarping) -Complete required driving log on highly developed ELD system -Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all equipment -Maintains appropriate driving records, logs, and shipping documents as required -Verifies shipping documents for accuracy, and obtains customer’s signature on paperwork upon delivery -Performs duties consistent with all applicable safety, DOT, and Company rules and regulations -Operate commercial vehicles up to 80,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight.

What You Bring

-Minimum 12th grade basic education completed -Must be 21 years of age -Completes training as required by management -Minimum 1 year of experience driving a Class A commercial vehicle -Must have valid and current Commercial Driver’s License -Must be able to pass a physical examination (DOT required). Position includes lifting (up to 25 lbs), pushing/pulling, twisting, standing, walking, bending at the waist, handling of material. With some Dry Van Work. -Must not have any DOT recordable accidents in the past three years
