BIM Lead - Wet Utilities

Tasks

-Deliver coordinated, clash-checked design packages on time and within budget. -Manage digital construction models and BIM workflows across project stages. -Drawing production for detailed design of engineering Packages -Produce design documentation, drawings, and technical reports in line with project requirements and deadlines. -Develop and model gravity and pressure networks for master planning, transportation, and highway projects. -Coordinate information and data management between all stakeholders. -Prepare and detail Right-of-Way (ROW) cross-sections for all utilities. -Export models to Navisworks, Revit, and other platforms for multidisciplinary coordination. -Build and maintain Civil 3D catalogues and libraries to streamline workflows and support efficient design delivery. -Effectively collaborate with different departments to support and manage the transition to BIM methodologies. -Provide design and drafting support for civil engineering projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables. -Facilitate effective coordination and communication among project teams, clients, and consultants. -Develop, implement, and enforce BIM documentation and workflow process standards. -Perform clash detection and resolution using appropriate BIM tools, identifying conflicts and coordinating with relevant disciplines in a timely and organized manner. -Modelling of gravity and pressure networks -Coordinating his/her work with other members of the CAD team. -Support continuous improvement by developing standard BIM workflows, libraries, and best practices to enhance team efficiency.

What You Bring

-Work competently with minimal supervision. -Awareness of CAD Software Auto CAD, Civil 3D. -Good English communication skills will also be preferred -Knowledge of information standards (ISO 19650, PAS 1192, BS 1192) -Experienced in providing guidance and delivering training to project teams for the effective management and execution of BIM projects. -Extensive experience in clash check software packages -Use Autodesk Civil 3D extensively for utility design, modelling, and documentation. -Should have knowledge of information standards (ISO 19650, PAS 1192, BS 1192) -Diploma / BEng equivalent discipline with minimum 14 years experienceExtensive experience in Civil 3D -Extensive experience of interfacing with Revit and other building design packages
