Senior Electrical Project Designer

Overview

Design and draft electrical engineering projects for commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Coordinate with sub-consultants. -Coordinate and assist with addendums, RFIs, and change orders. -Maintain documentation for billable hours. -Design full site plans and resolve complex design issues with limited direction. -Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project. -Assist managers with the project approval process. -Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations. Generate reports and recommendations based on findings. -Organize and maintain project files. -Assist in maintaining task budgets.

What You Bring

-Demonstrate an understanding of basis of design. -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred -3+ years of experience with electrical design for buildings, preferably with commercial projects such as retail, restaurants, industrial, multi-family, etc. -E.I.T. preferred, P.E. a plus -Demonstrate an understanding of codes/
