Tasks

-Participate in and sometimes lead, discipline design reviews -To provide senior-level technical expertise to develop detailed, constructible electrical designs and specifications for projects during the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase, ensuring these designs meet technical, safety, and client requirements within budget and schedule constraints -In charge of the Electrical deliverables -Review and where required approval of work by others -Support design/drawing office personnel with specialist engineering input -Review vendor’s document to ensure equipment vendors provide timely and quality input into design packages -Provide engineering input during all design phases, including interpretation and challenge of standards -Carry out calculations & studies required to finalize electrical equipment specifications -Understand the contract quality management system and ensure these requirements are met -Participation with contribution during P&IDs, HAZOP, and SIL reviews workshop -Ensure design packages meet the relevant safety, environmental and ergonomic standards -Actively communicate with other disciplines to optimize areas of interface, during the design development, review and check processes -Preparation of design documents which includes SLDs, Protection & Control schematics and layout drawings -To participate in project scheduling and project review activities -Prepare requisitions and technical evaluation of bids for discipline material and equipment procurement -Review all third party discipline design work

What You Bring

-Fully coherent in all international codes and standards -At least 15 Years experience in Electrical Design experience in the Oil & Gas environment -Engineering Degree in a Electrical discipline -Experience in FEED, Detail design and EPC projects -Excellent command of both spoken and written English is required
