The Role

Overview

Operate, set up, maintain production machinery and ensure quality and safety.

Tasks

-Conduct regular in-process inspections to ensure quality control standards. -Record data such as production numbers, machine settings, and product quality data. -Prepare machinery for operation by performing routine maintenance tasks and conducting safety checks to ensure that the equipment is in good working condition. -Monitor machines during operation to ensure that they are producing products that meet quality standards. -Set up and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. -Continuously work in a safe manner and maintain a safe and clean work area. -Follow company rules and guidelines. -Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary adjustments to fix any issues that arise during the production process. -Follow safety protocols and adhere to the proper use of PPE to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and other employees.

What You Bring

-Able to meet attendance expectations. -Ability to read and interpret safety rules, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets), operating and maintenance instructions, and any relevant manuals. -Comply with cross-training and other training requirements. -Able to work overtime shifts. -Must be able to learn and manufacture high quality output and meet minimum production requirements and perform all relative work instructions accurately within training period. -Must be able to successfully pass e-Verify background check. -Prior experience preferred, but not required. -Able to maintain a professional, positive attitude. -Physical stamina and dexterity are also important qualities as the job involves standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks. -Ability to read and interpret gauges and record measurements. -High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Strong time management capabilities. -Ability to stand for an 8–10-hour shift. -Good verbal and written communication skills. -Ability to speak and read English effectively. -Must be able to learn all manufacturing units, and willing to train others as needed.
