The Role

Overview

Senior electrical engineer overseeing HV/LV, control, SCADA and safety standards.

Tasks

-Testing and isolation of high and low voltage electrical systems and proving dead. -Drafting and publishing of electrical policy, instructions and guidance.

What You Bring

-Knowledge and experience in the development and delivery of Safe systems of work, risk assessments, method statements. -Excellent work management, team working and communication skills are a must for this role. -Knowledge of high and low voltage generation and distribution systems. -A good working knowledge of control systems, including the application of IEC 61508, IEC 62061 and BS EN 13489, and telemetry / SCADA systems. -A good working knowledge of the Electricity at Work regulations and BS 7671 IET wiring regulations. -Strong understanding of a risk-based approach to electrical maintenance philosophies and implementation, including the application of Failure Mode Effects Analysis, reliability systems and processes.
