Overview

Design and manage municipal transportation infrastructure projects in Ontario

Tasks

-Contribute to the planning and management of transportation projects on local, collector, and arterial roads for various municipal clients across Ontario, including assisting with project schedules, budgets, quality control, and coordination of design tasks. -Liaise with clients, agencies, utilities and regulatory authorities to support coordination and obtain required project permits and approvals. -Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers, participate in design reviews, and assist in resolving engineering and design issues. -Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to maintain client relationships and assist in proposal preparation and business development activities. -Prepare and review design drawings, reports, and tender documents for urban and rural road and highway projects, environmental assessments, and associated municipal infrastructure (such as watermains, storm sewers, and sanitary sewers).

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering. -Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills in English. -Valid “G” class driver’s license and access to a vehicle. -Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and member of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) or eligible for licensure. -Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary design teams and mid- to large-scale construction projects. -Minimum of 7 years of experience in project delivery and team management, including at least 5 years of design experience in transportation and municipal infrastructure projects in Ontario.
