This appointment offers authority, visibility, and influence within a high-performing business unit driving critical transport improvements across the West Midlands.Role Overview The Managing Quantity Surveyor will hold full commercial responsibility across a £40m infrastructure programme under an NEC Option C contract. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the position requires strategic oversight of cost management, subcontract procurement, risk control, and client interface while leading a team of Quantity Surveyors to achieve robust commercial outcomes.Key Responsibilities -Provide accurate forecasting, cost reporting, and margin analysis -Drive effective procurement and subcontract management -Manage contract administration and change control under NEC Option C -Develop and mentor commercial staff to support succession and capability growth -Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and financial procedures -Maintain productive relationships with operations, clients, and supply chain partners -Lead the project's commercial strategy and execution
