Tasks

-Ensure stakeholder requirements and feedback are incorporated into engineering projects. -Act as a liaison between engineering and other departments, such as product management, quality, sourcing, manufacturing amongst others. -Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. -Drive innovation by researching and implementing new technologies and methodologies. -Lead by example, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning. -Oversee and manage large-scale, complex engineering projects from inception to completion. -Serve as a technical expert in window design and engineering decisions. -Lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative window solutions. -Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers to enhance their technical skills and professional growth. -Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and timelines. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives. -Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in engineering -Proven track record of leading and delivering large-scale engineering projects. -Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. -Previous experience in a similar senior technical role within a fast-paced environment. -Strong understanding of window design, engineering, and best practices. -Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. -Ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Master's degree in engineering -Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in fenestration engineering. -Broad experience in the fenestration and building products industry as well as exposure to other functional areas (i.e. operations, procurement, product management, product development, R&D) incl. a proven track record of success will set you apart
