Provide field engineering expertise for civil works on a greenfield mining project.

Tasks

-Providing support to field supervision in establishing requirements for workforce, tools, equipment, and material requirements for a given work activity -Performing inspections and initiating supporting documentation for all Civil installations on an ongoing basis -Developing / reviewing installation work packages and construction work packages in support of the construction schedule -Assisting field procurement in receipt inspection and reporting of associated equipment and materials, preventive maintenance requirements and storage requirements -Preparing field material requisitions for equipment and materials, and monitoring status of purchase orders and deliveries -Executing field material take-offs from "Issued For Construction" drawings. Providing input to the quantity tracking applications and reporting on weekly installed quantities

What You Bring

-Demonstrated ability to motivate team members effectively & positively in a collaborative team environment -Experience on a Mining construction site especially in Western Australia -Demonstrated ability to problem-solve in high pressure situations -Understanding of applicable Bechtel work processes including Standard Work Process Procedures -Familiarity with Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs) including Setroute, Unifier, Aconex, DSCS, PTR, Agile, Navisworks, and other automation tools which are used on Bechtel projects -Experience managing Works Contractors
