Overview

Maintain, integrate, and visualize GIS property and land-use data for enterprise needs.

Tasks

-Develop, maintain, and update Enterprise GIS datasets related to property boundaries, ownership, zoning, and land use. -Initiate and maintain easy-to-follow documentation relating to data development and administration. -Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. -Integrate property records from various sources (deeds, plats, tax records) into Enterprise GIS databases. -Integrate spatial data with tabular data from external systems (e.g., property records, census data). -Customize symbology, labeling, and layouts to meet unique user requirements. -Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across GIS databases and deliverables. -Design and produce high-quality maps, applications, and visualizations for reports and presentations. -Design and implement workflow automation for repeatable geoprocessing tasks. -Collect, clean, and maintain geospatial datasets from various sources (e.g., satellite imagery, GPS, surveys).

What You Bring

-Hold a bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, or related disciplines. -Strong understanding of coordinate systems, topology, and spatial data integrity. -Have three or more years of progressively and responsible experience in developing, integrating, implementing, and maintaining GIS data and technologies. -Experience with SQL, Python, and ModelBuilder for geoprocessing tasks. -Experience with Adobe Creative Suite. -Ability to independently diagnose, analyze, and resolve technology issues. -Strong commitment to the Company’s world-class safety culture. -Demonstrated proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Suite (Pro, Online, Enterprise etc.). -Working knowledge of AutoCAD. -GISP Certification preferred. -Superb time management and judgment skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. -Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing. -Familiarity with public land survey systems (PLSS) and legal land descriptions. -Experience with work ticketing systems, such as ServiceNow. -Familiarity with land records systems, tax assessment databases, and legal property descriptions. -Strong interpersonal skills; self-motivated with the ability to work productively in both individual and group settings.
