Tasks

Track timelines, deliverables, and open items to ensure client commitments are met with efficiency and follow-through Build trust-based client relationships through responsiveness, accuracy, and attention to detail Partner with the lead Benefit Consultant to support renewal preparation, carrier/vendor coordination, and ongoing strategy execution Serve as the main point of contact for client questions, service requests, and issue resolution throughout the year Support data gathering, benchmarking, reporting, and project management activities in partnership with internal analysts and engagement specialists Learn and grow your understanding of alternative funding models (e.g., self-funding, level-funding) to prepare for future opportunities in more complex account support Coordinate internal team resources to execute tasks related to plan design changes, compliance deliverables, open enrollment, and employee communication Manage the day-to-day service needs of a defined block of mid-market clients, typically fully insured and ranging from 100 to 1,000 lives

What You Bring

Professional and proactive communication style — both written and verbal 3+ years of experience in employee benefits account management or group insurance (brokerage or carrier experience preferred) Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products especially excel and PowerPoint, required Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with database applications, a plus. Life & Health License (or ability to obtain within first 90 days) Must be self-motivated and disciplined Bachelor’s Degree, preferred Excellent project management and organizational skills Demonstrate leadership capabilities Strong grasp of fully insured benefit plans and general employee benefits administration Must be very detail-oriented Ability to work with clients at a strategic level Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment Possess strong organizational skills
