Tasks

-Lead the integration of security governance into field operations and business planning -Lead projects to upgrade and standardize security infrastructure across the organization -Develop and execute the physical security strategy in alignment with enterprise HSSE objectives and global standards. -Ensure readiness for audits and inspections; maintain evidence of compliance and support continuous improvement of the security management system -Collaborate with internal partners (e.g., IT, Legal, HR, Operations) and external agencies (e.g., law enforcement, regulatory bodies) to ensure effective security operations and incident response -Oversee daily operations of all physical security programs, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations thereto -Drive adoption of new technologies and best practices in physical security -Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth -Establish and maintain physical security policies, standards, and procedures while ensuring documentation is current and communicated to all stakeholders

What You Bring

-Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable -Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field -Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds -Advanced degree or certifications such as CPP/PSP preferred -Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (NERC/CIP, ISO 45001/14001, ANSI/ASIS PAP.1) and industry best practices -Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships -Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts -A minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role is required -Ability to multitask, while working independently and as part of a team -Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams -Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space -Strong leadership and communication, and the ability to meet deadlines -A minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in physical security operations is required -Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills -Demonstrated expertise in access control, video management, and incident response systems (e.g., Avigilon, Lenel, Genetec) -Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities -Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables -Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive organizational change
