Overview
Lead electrician managing wiring, equipment installation & crew for production.

Tasks
-Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. -Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. -Plans wiring and installation of equipment and fixtures such as switches, circuit breakers, and panel boards. -Instructs or trains crew members in the installation policies and standards set forth by Trachte for quality and consistency and is directly accountable for the electrical installation of their assigned project. -Perform tests for continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments such as volt/ohmmeter. -Installs wiring and fixtures for conformance to company specifications and local electrical codes. -Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving problems. -Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. -Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties. -Sets up conduit cutting, threading, and bending machines and equipment. -Performs activities of workers supervised. -Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
