Tasks

-Test Windows/Linux/Android-based software applications for product integration. -Testing Bluetooth, RS232, CAN bus, Wi-Fi communications. Testing servo motor/encoder systems. Collaborate with vendors with improvements. -Build test fixtures and interface them with external hardware or PCs. -Troubleshoot and resolve production and field service issues. -Design/source wiring, connectors, and schematics for power and signal cables. -Collaborate with vendors to source and validate new components. -Manage the design, development, and testing of analog, digital, and embedded control systems for new products. Work with outsourced designer/vendors. -Ensure compliance with UL, CSA, and CE standards for products. -Support the sales department with feedback on product upgrades and options.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with data bus architectures (I2C, RS232, SPI, USB, CAN). -Experience with microcontrollers and embedded firmware. -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. -Strong troubleshooting skills for electronic circuits and PCBs. -Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision. -Experience with transformers, 5v/12v/24v power supplies, fusing, and emc filters. -3+ years of experience in electronic/electrical design.
