Handles financial records, invoicing, reconciliations, and payment processing.

Tasks

-Work with dispatchers, drivers, and operations personnel to handle customer orders/complaints -Process customer lien waivers (Fill out waivers for signature and notary stamp) -Reconcile Cash Desks for multiple locations -Document notes on customer accounts based on conversations/emails -Work unapplied report daily (weekly progress report showing movement on these will go to management in an effort clear this account) -Reconciles bank statements and report discrepancy problems -Reconciles short payments and recommends credit memos to sales group -Audit freight bills against freight manifests -Setup new customer accounts using workflow business tool -Process customer refund as needed -Make business to business collection calls based on aging reports -Perform shipment confirmation, involves keying amounts delivered to customers and charging freight when applicable -Process customers payment through online payment portal. -Accurately prepare vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports and other records for review -Account reconciliation (reconcile outstanding issues such as short payments, aged credits/invoices, unapplied payments, etc.)

What You Bring

-Skilled and accurate in data entry and data research with 10-key operation experience -Previous accounting experience -Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and H5 -Associates Degree/Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent in years of related work experience or training -Knowledge required on construction products, computers, inventory, and telephones
