Overview
Oversee safety programs for multi-state construction projects, ensuring OSHA compliance.

Tasks
-Creation and evaluating activity hazard reviews. -Foster and maintains a positive safety culture for the project personnel. -Oversee that all safety training of all regional personnel is completed. -Ensure compliance to all Safety Policies and adopted Standards. -Conduct monthly safety meetings for Project Staff. -Maintain all safety certifications as required by contracts. -Develop and implement long-term strategy and short-term plans for continuous improvement of the safety, health and environmental compliance program across all aspects of the Ameresco’s Regional business operation. -Ensure incidents are reported, investigated, under-go comprehensive root-cause analysis, and corrective actions implemented to minimize the likelihood of repeat occurrence. -Conduct Safety Audits of assigned project sites ensuring work is being accomplished safely and occupational health is not compromised. -Ensure completion of project safety inspections with follow-up inspections of any open items. -Produce Safety Reports of activities performed. -Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, co-workers, supervisors, and management. -Review Subcontractor safety qualifications and attend Pre-Construction Meetings as required. -Work with project supervision and management to create safety solutions to safety problems. -Ensure personal protective equipment meets applicable OSHA requirements and employees are trained on proper use. -Oversee the preparation of Site-Specific Safety Plans and Activity Hazard Analysis for assigned projects.

What You Bring
-Must be organized, proactive and have proven experience in OSHA Compliance. -Ability to travel extensively to support construction operations. -Proficient with Microsoft Office, Procore, and other basic computer skills. -Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification. -Skillful communicator in both verbal and in written communication. -A great listener who can communicate professionally and in an open and positive approach. -Current First Aid & CPR Certification. -Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety & health or related program; or, an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. -Excellent writing skills with proper grammar. -Minimum of seven (7) years of construction safety experience.
