Document Controller

Overview

Manages document control, master lists, EDMS, and coordination with engineering and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Follow-up with Engineering team on the due date of the document submission in advance, keep them notified on the due deliverable. -Follows up with customer on the document approval for the submitted document, in case of any comments for customer, Document controller shares the comments with the Engineering team and get the document updated and resubmitted. -Also perform Audit, and ensure only required stake holder have access to the folder and document stored are in line with revision of documents specified in the MDL. -Document Controller also responsible for the Project Folder management, Governs the access control. -Document Controller act as SPC for Multi functional team for drawing/Document release. -Document controller also reviews the document authentically with reference to the Document Management system specification.

What You Bring

-MDL [Master Document List] is prepared by Doc controller & maintained in EDMS tool. -Knowledge in OpenText, Aconex and Autodesk Vault -Ability to handle discussions / communications independently -Knowledge of SAP, WRENCH, PRIMAVERA is advantageous -Good Communication skills - Makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens effectively; clarifies information as needed. -Knowledge of Document Management System -Knowledge of MS Office Package & EDMS Systems -EDMS tool is used for all communication and document storage.
