Tasks

-Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in power grids, HVDC, smart grids, and renewable integration. -Develop automation scripts and algorithms to improve modeling accuracy and efficiency. -Utilize industry-standard software such as PSS®E, PowerFactory, PSCAD, or EMTP for simulations. -Contribute to technical papers and industry best practices in power system modeling. -Support grid expansion and modernization projects through technical recommendations. -Support grid modernization efforts, ensuring efficient integration of renewable energy sources. -Develop and refine transmission and distribution network models for system performance analysis. -Identify and mitigate grid constraints and operational inefficiencies to enhance system reliability. -Conduct load flow, short-circuit, dynamic, and contingency analyses to assess grid stability. -Provide data-driven insights to utilities, grid operators, and renewable energy developers.

What You Bring

-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. -Strong expertise in power system analysis, grid modeling, and network simulations. -Hands-on experience with tools such as PSS®E, PowerFactory, PSCAD, or similar simulation software. -Deep understanding of transmission and distribution networks, as well as renewable energy integration. -Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field, with 4+ years of relevant experience.
