Assist superintendent in overseeing site operations, safety, schedule, and documentation.

Tasks

-Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. -Facilitate communication between the project manager, superintendent, subcontractors, and site workers. -Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including work progress, safety incidents, and deliveries. -Supervise subcontractors and construction workers, ensuring that work is performed safely and efficiently. -Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials and equipment. -Assist with the preparation and submission of required project documentation. -Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality of materials and workmanship. -Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. -Monitor progress against project milestones and report any deviations to the Superintendent and Project Managers. -Ensure all site activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. -Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards. -Address any issues or conflicts that arise on the site promptly and effectively. -Prepare and submit reports on project status, including any delays or issues encountered. -Help plan and organize site logistics to optimize workflow and efficiency.

-Verbal communication skills in Mandarin. -Ability to work in a construction site environment (trailer office). -Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. -High level of attention to detail, and highly organized. -Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions. International travel may be required. -Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude. -Ability to use engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or others. -Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors. -Ability to communicate in Mandarin, preferred. -2+ years of experience in construction. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams). -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications. -Excellent organizational and time management skills. -High School Diploma/GED; bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. -Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and employees.
