Lead complex transportation design‑build projects from concept to delivery.

Tasks

-Proactively identifies potential program problems or opportunities, analyzes the issues using all appropriate resources, develops alternatives and arrives at the most optimum approach to mitigate problems or exploit opportunities. -Mentors and develops junior program managers and team members to build organizational capacity. -Implements and oversees risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential program risks. -Manages the most complex and sensitive projects, often in multiple geographic locations. Many projects assigned are distinguished by their magnitude or program complexity, requiring that more than one person be involved. -Acts independently or as a team leader representing IE with consulting firms and is responsible for ensuring that the final product of the project or program team reflects the original scope and budget requirements. -Leads change management efforts to facilitate successful program implementation and adoption -Develops and presents regular program status reports to executive management and stakeholders. -Develops and maintains comprehensive program plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget forecasts. -Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes and methodologies. -Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and executive leadership. -Negotiates and manages complex contracts with vendors and partners to support program objectives. -Leads cross-functional teams and coordinates activities across multiple departments to ensure program objectives are met. -Ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies throughout program execution.

What You Bring

-Experienced with Design Build delivery for final design. -Position will require frequent travel to project and client sites. -Design Build Project Experience. -State Professional Engineer License, or the ability to obtain within twelve months. -15+ years of transportation project experience. -Experience managing a large team in a fast-paced environment. -Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership experience. -Experience leading and managing transportation design-build projects on large complex highway projects.
