The Role

Overview

Assist PM in coordinating construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Tasks

-Maintain site documents and record as-built drawings. -Participate in job site safety including safety meetings, walks, and other related tasks. -Manage RFI and Submittal processes; Verify material deliveries and installed work/work-in-place conform to the project documents and approved submittals. -Participate in, and lead, assigned elements of project closeout including punch list, owner turnover manuals, and required owner training. -Participate in Pull Planner and Weekly Planner meetings and track weekly planner data -Review change order proposals presented by subcontractors and assist with determining accuracy/validity. Prepare written estimates for clients based on labor, materials, equipment, and other expenses. -Setup, manage, and maintain project management software for each job assigned. -Visit project sites to evaluate progress and to respond to customers’ concerns or questions. Interacting with clients to interpret their needs and requirements and representing them in the field -Coordinate and communicate effectively with the project manager, superintendent, and project coordinator to provide assistance and technical support. Build and maintain Owner, Architect, Subcontractor and supplier relationships.

What You Bring

-Ability to work non-traditional hours when needed -Project management software experience strongly preferred; Procore, Newforma, etc. -Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite -Demonstrated ability to build relationships and motivate teams of people -Ability to travel (NC / SC) -Strong understanding of the construction process -Excellent communication skills; both written and oral -Relevant experience or a degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field -Ability to read and understand construction schedules. Primavera P6 experience preferred.
