Overview

Inspect and document road and bridge construction projects, ensuring compliance.

Tasks

-Maintain necessary records, measure field quantities, conduct field tests, and other tests as required to determine contractors’ compliance with contract specifications. -Submit accurate timesheets, mileage, and expense reports on time each week. -Record and report daily forms per project requirements. -Perform field construction inspection and documentation services on various commercial, municipal, institutional, and/or heavy highway and bridge projects. -Prepare detailed and timely reports to document construction progress, inspection, and testing results. -Resolve problems at the lowest level. -Ensure compliance with all applicable industry standards and client requirements. -Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, staff, and supervisors. -Review all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting. -Review job site safety daily and take immediate action to document and resolve issues.

What You Bring

-Demonstrate basic math skills, including geometry and trigonometry. -Understand and adhere to OSHA Safety Standards and corporate policies. -Work effectively as a team member and complete daily reports by hand and computer. -Ability to pass and maintain required certifications. -Ability to understand construction plans, specifications, and procedures. -Possess the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently. -Valid Driver’s License -Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position. -0-2 years of experience
