- Managing traffic projects and traffic elements of larger project and ensure quality of products and conformance to budget.
- Development and evaluation of design alternatives and design plans to maintain traffic during construction.
- Review work for accuracy and coordinate with others functional groups to ensure quality assurance and quality control for all final products.
- Business development: pursue new / further develop existing client relationships, focusing on innovative ideas and trends.
- Research and implement emerging technologies to offer value added services to your clients.
- Manage internal and external client relationships.
- Present technical reports at conferences and agency meetings.
- Be a leader in delivering our traffic engineering services - specifically focused on advancing new technology within our traffic team.
- Find ways to incorporate sustainable practices to your clients.
- Supervise the work of other engineers and technicians.
- Develop action plans to identify potential opportunities and track progress.
- Prepare memorandums and reports for traffic studies and research.
- Prepare and/or review traffic design plans for various projects.
- Conduct and/or oversee traffic modeling and analysis for studies.
- Actively participate in the preparation of proposals.
